This is about directing your attention to your mindset and growing more present and connected to your daily life and the people around you. If the idea of “mindfulness” makes you roll your eyes, that’s okay. If you think that mindfulness is only for people with a lot of free time, quiet, and one of those little gongs, that’s okay too. No matter where you’re coming from, paying attention to your habits will give you an entirely new relationship with yourself, and the ability to be more present in your relationships with others. Changes don’t happen overnight, so take a breath and take it at your own pace.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Paleo, Whole30, intermittent fasting, intuitive eating, veganism, something about having pizza every day?? Eating has become extremely complicated in our diet culture, especially for women. Marketing and overprocessing have created extremely addictive foods that do the opposite of what food is meant to do - nourish our bodies and give us energy! And that doesn’t even include the complicated mindset that we all have around food - there is so much emotion, memory, shame, and guilt that we experience around food and eating, it’s no wonder that we just feel like giving up. I don’t believe in “good” and “bad” foods. I don’t believe anything is “off limits.” And I don’t believe that there is only one definition of healthy. I DO believe that you can have a relationship with what you eat that nourishes you and brings you joy.</image:caption>
